Embrace Reality
Human self interest is a fantastically good happenstance. It has existed from the very beginning and explains much of the differences between us and other forms of life. Self interest creates collective interest but not the other way around. While self interest and collective interest do overlap, I'm suggesting that self interest more often leads directly to collective interest versus how in-often collective interest leads to self interest.
Human interactions are not necessarily a Zero-Sum game,, nor do they have to be. By using math, we define 2+2=4, or 1+3=4 etc...both sides of the equal symbol are the same, thus simple math is a Zero-Sum game. What science can we utilize to advance human interaction so that the sum of it's parts is a greater whole than its components? In other words, how can we create a value system that provides more 2+2=5 situations?

What is Zero-Sum thinking...
There are those who think in terms of Zero-Sums in every aspect of their lives. As an example, thinking that in order for anyone to gain anything, another person must lose something. This is an essential concept of Progressive thought, which has captured a great many Americans and much of the world.,,but...anything that is based on a false premise is also false.
The idealogical description of modern Progressive Political Persuasion is based upon the idea that human nature has evolved or "progressed" since America's Declaration of Independence and Constitution were written. Progressives believe these are out-of-date pieces of paper and that the fundamental principles incorporated within are subject to whimsical interpretation...therefore they should be considered "living documents".
"Modern Progressives" have been writing about and promoting these rationals since the 1920's. But how true are their original rationals and conclusions about human nature?
Progressive thought is actually regressive ... it's repeating the same failed ideologies of the past and believing "this time the results be different"
It's us versus them
Liberalism has become an epidemic of madness ..."They" cannot be reasoned with nor can they be made to be ashamed. Their depravity can only be continually exposed...."We" have no other tools to cure this unfortunate malady.
Except for speaking the truth, doing anything else just means "we" have become "them".
